300 undergraduate and graduate students from METU Northern Cyprus Campus graduated and received diplomas at the ceremony held on Ankara Campus.

The annual METU Graduation Ceremony, which remains high on the agenda for a long time every year due to the creative banners prepared by students, was held at METU on Sunday, June 30, 2019. ABDEL RAHMAN R. S. YASEEN from Palestine and KHALED MAZEN MAHMOUD ELSAYED ELDOWA from Egypt, who graduated with a 4.00 GPA and were placed among the 9 highest-ranking students in the University, honored METU Northern Cyprus Campus.

METU Cyprus added 300 new members from 23 different countries to the METU Alumni, which has more than 120,000 members. Among the graduates of METU Northern Cyprus Campus, there are students from the TRNC, Morocco, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Palestine, Kenya, Libya, Lebanon, Egypt, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Somalia, Tunisia, USA, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, and Switzerland.

With the 300 new graduates added this year, The METU Cyprus alumni now has more than 2,000 members.

Graduation of METU Cyprus students is celebrated at the Northern Cyprus Campus as well, but graduates receive their diplomas in Ankara because all three of the campuses of the University constitute the METU family.
