November 10th Program for Commemoration of Ataturk

Dear METUians,

Thursday, November 10th, 2022 marks the 84th anniversary of the loss of our Commander-in-Chief and Headteacher Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, whose progressive reforms brought modern Turkey into existence. We will commemorate our great leader, the founding father of the modern and democratic Republic of Turkey, with a ceremony on this momentous day.
I kindly ask you to attend this meaningful ceremony.
Since the Commemoration Ceremony of Atatürk is an event included in our academic calendar, there will be no classes or exams on November 10th, 2022, between 8:40 and 10:30. Academic staff members attending the ceremony are required to wear their academic dresses.
