Minor Program in Digital Electronics

MINOR PROGRAM IN Digital Electronics

Understanding of interdisciplinary fields involving digital electronic systems contributes significantly to addressing the grand challenges of the present and foreseeable future. Minor Program in Digital Electronics provides students with a fundamental understanding of digital electronic systems such as sensor interfaces, embedded processors, computers, and networks.

This minor program is open to all students whose major area is outside Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Conditions of Minor Program Completion

There are a total of 6 courses in this minor program; 4 of them are mandatory, and 2 of them are restricted elective courses. Students must take mandatory courses to get the fundamentals of digital electronics. The restricted elective courses provide insights into the field of digital electronics. Some of the mandatory or elective courses may be taken as part of the students’ major program, in which case they can be counted towards the Digital Electronics minor program as long as at least 4 courses are outside the major program curriculum.
