There are daily direct flights from Ankara and Istanbul and scheduled direct flights from Izmir, Antalya, Adana, Hatay, Gaziantep, Trabzon and Kayseri to Lefkoşa Ercan Airport.
Please check the web sites of the Turkish airline companies to find detailed information about the flights from/to Lefkoşa Ercan Airport since no other airline company is allowed to schedule flights to Lefkoşa Ercan Airport from Türkiye.

By Sea:
Ferry and sea bus services travel daily between Mersin-Taşucu (Türkiye) and Kyrenia and Famagusta (TRNC) harbors. In the summer season, there is also a service between Alanya and Kyrenia. Travel time is approximately three hours from Alanya and two hours from Taşucu. Please contact the following maritime companies for rates and schedules:

Travel on the Island
There are regular bus services between Güzelyurt, Nicosia and Kyrenia, and also between Nicosia and Famagusta. Taxi services are available for local and inter-city transportation. Municipalities also offer local bus services. Visitors must drive on the left with a local or international driving license in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, where international traffic signs are used. The domestic roads are safe and in good condition. The vehicles brought into TRNC must have valid insurance.

Local Transportation:
METU NCC entrance Gates, A1 and A2, are 6 km away from the Güzelyurt city center (A1) and 1 km away from the village of Kalkanlı (A2). Scheduled minibus services are available to travel locally from and to METU NCC. Shared taxies provide on-call pick-up service.
METU NCC Traffic And Parking Regulations
Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus traffic rules apply on the campus and traffic runs on the left. There are speed limits and no-parking areas within the Campus premises. Depending on their status, university staff is given a vehicle sticker. Students are not given vehicle stickers. You can find the traffic regulations for campus on the following attached document:
