METU Northern Cyprus Campus graduates participated in the ceremony held in Ankara for students who completed their studies at METU ranking first. Beliz Tütüncüoğlu, a graduate of the Teaching English as a Foreign Language Program (TEFL), and İrem Nur Akçor, a graduate of the Psychology Program, who achieved a shared first place, received their diplomas from Prof. Dr. Mustafa Verşan Kök, METU Rector, and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tevfik Zeyrek, Acting President of METU Northern Cyprus Campus. During the ceremony, the students have also received their certificates in the form of a non-fungible token (NFT), and METU thus introduced a new way to present an award in the field of education which is a first in Turkey.
