TEKNOFEST Helicopter Design Competition Award
Congratulations to AE-ZION Team of METU NCC students won the third price in the TEKNOFEST Helicopter Design Competition that was held in Istanbul on September 21-26. The team demonstrated a conceptual design of a light class 5-seat helicopter with a goal to achieve a superior performance, low noise emissions, affordability and operability as compared to the competitor helicopters available in the market. Totally 120 teams entered the TEKNOFEST Helicopter Design Competition this year.
AE-ZION Team members are Ayça Muştu (ASE), Rabia Irem Yılmaz (ASE), Muhammad Talha Ahmed Ansari (graduate MECH), Zeynep Kansu (ASE), Onismo Jimu (ASE), Eda Nur Bolat (ASE), and the supervisor is Asst. Prof. Dr. Anna Prach (ASE).
This is the second year in a row that METU NCC students team is awarded a wining place in the TEKNOFEST Helicopter Design Competition. In 2020, HELLY-800 Team from METU NCC was awarded the 3rd place in this competition.
We are very proud of our students and their achievement, and hope that this success will motivate and inspire METU NCC students in the future.
