Organized by our Aerospace Engineering Student Society, METU Director of Science Communication Dr. Umut Yıldız visited our campus on March 22, 2025, to deliver a seminar titled “The Birth and Death of the Universe.”
The event attracted strong interest from students both from our university and other institutions across Northern Cyprus. The audience expressed high appreciation for the seminar. Our Dean of Engineering Prof. Dr. Murat Fahrioğlu, Dean of Social Sciences Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hayriye Kahveci, and Aerospace Engineering Coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr. Barış Güngördü were also among the attendees.
