PROGRAM OUTCOMES
The METU Northern Cyprus Campus Cybersecurity Engineering program aims to provide students with the following knowledge, skills, and competencies upon graduation:
- Students will be able to apply their knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering.
- Students will be able to design and conduct scientific experiments and analyze and interpret data.
- Students will be able to design software or processes considering realistic economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability constraints.
- Students will be able to work harmoniously with others and facilitate multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Students will be able to identify, formulate, and solve cybersecurity problems.
- Students will act with professional responsibility and ethical understanding.
- Students will be able to communicate effectively.
- Students will understand the role and impact of cybersecurity in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts.

- Students will be aware of current issues such as globalization, environmental impact, and conflicts of interest.
- Students will be able to effectively use scientific methods and tools (cryptography, security protocols, network security techniques, threat intelligence) required to apply the field of cybersecurity.
- Students will be able to design, develop, implement, and improve solutions to ensure the security of integrated systems encompassing people, materials, information, equipment, and energy.
- Students will be able to apply critical thinking and systems thinking to cyber threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and secure system design.
