Student Transcript

How to Get a Transcript

  • To obtain a transcript with a wet signature, you need to send an email to nccregatmetu.edu.tr. The transcript will be provided in a sealed envelope within 2 working days.
  • For the fees required for transcript applications, please click here.
  • The shipping fees for documents sent domestically or internationally are to be paid by the recipient/sender.

If you are a registered student, you can submit your request by filling out the "Transcript Request Form" available on student.metu.edu.tr. If you are a graduate, you can request a transcript by completing the "Transcript Request Form" on application.metu.edu.tr.

Who can use this program?

  • Transcripts can be obtained by all METU NCC students (registered/graduate/not-registered).
  • If you are an active METU NCC student (registered):For any questions or problems related to your accounts/passwords, please use the METU User Account Management webpage at https://useraccount.metu.edu.tr.**
    • You must apply by using the e-mail address assigned to your METU student number (Example: e12345atmetu.edu.tr).
    • Your password is the one assigned to your METU NCC student number.
  • If you are a graduate or a student with not-registered status and your account has been deactivated, please use the “Inactive User” link to create a new system login.

What is an Inactive User?

The term “Inactive User” refers to graduates or students with a non-registered status whose accounts have been deactivated. As These individuals cannot access the system with their METU username and password (their e123456-style user codes) they are requıred to register using a different e-mail address.

What should I do if my student ID number cannot be found in the system? (For Inactive Users)

If your student ID number cannot be found in the system, you cannot log in to the application program. The Registrar’s Office will be notified on your behalf, and the system will send you an email regarding the issue. The Registrar’s Office will check the records and will inform you about your student ID number.

How can I receive my Transcript?

  • To request a transcript, click the “Transcript Request” link and answer the questions provided.
  • The transcript application is submitted through the system to the Registrar's Office for approval and processing.

Depending on the option you select:

If you select “I want to receive my transcript online” option, the transcript will be generated in the system with a QR code for verification by the Registrar’s Office. The student will receive an email notifying him/her that the transcript is ready and can be downloaded as a PDF from the application program.

If you select “I want to receive my transcript by hand from the Registrar’s Office” option, he transcript will be generated in the system with a QR code for verification. After the wet-ink signature and the seals are completed, the student will receive an email informing him/her that the transcript is ready for collection at the Registrar’s Office.

  • You may collect your document within 2 working days following your application.
  • Transcript is issued only to the student in person, upon presentation of the student ID card.
  • Undergraduate and Master’s degree students can collect their transcripts from the ground floor counter of the Registrar’s Office.
  • Students registered at the English Preparatory Program cannot request a transcript.

If you select “I want to receive my transcript by post” option, the transcript will be generated in the system with a QR code for verification. After the wet-ink signature and the seals are completed, it will be posted to the address provided by the student.

  • If a new document is requested or generated by the system before the existing document’s validity period expires, the old document remains valid for verification. However, the verifying institution will be notified about the issuance of a more current document.
  • Students can track the status of their requests at every stage via the “Transcript Request" link in the application program. 
  • For transcripts collected from the Registrar’s Office or sent by email, students must upload the payment receipt in the relevant section of the application program. No fee is required for transcripts obtained online

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Is it possible to make multiple applications?

  • If you have already requested a transcript, you cannot submit a new application until the Registrar's Office has completed the approval and document preparation process.
  • Once the PDF button appears in the application program, you may submit a new request.

2. Can I submit the same PDF file to multiple institutions?

Yes, you can. You do not need to submit separate requests for each institution. During its validity period, the document may be downloaded multiple times and provided to multiple institutions.

3. When will my transcript be ready to collect?

You may collect your document within 2 working days following your application. You can track the status of your application via the “Transcript Request" link in the application program and via the e-mail notification sent by the Registrar's Office.

4. I want to get a transcript. What should I do?

  • If you are an active METU NCC student (registered), you can start the process by clicking on the “Transcript Request" link on student.metu.edu.tr . To complete your application, please follow the instructions in the “Transcript Support” menu.
  • If you are an Inactive User, you can start the process by clicking on the “Transcript Request" link on application.metu.edu.tr . Please follow the instructions in the “Transcript Support” menu to complete your application.
