* For students who newly registered for undergraduate programs
* For English Preparatory Program students who bear the right to sit the exam in accordance with the regulations
* Those who have lost their right to continue under the English Preparatory Program regulation but are eligible to take the exam
* Students eligible under Article 35 of the Regulation

The 2025-2026 Academic Year EPE dates are available in the Academic Calendar approved by the METU Senate.
The exam is free of charge for METU students.

The exam will be held face to face.
Candidates are required to note the following:
- Read the EPE booklet carefully.
- Check your exam place through the email that will be sent to you before the exam.
- Be present at your designated exam place no later than 09:30 on the exam day.
- Bring a valid photo ID with you to the exam. Candidates without a photo ID will not be allowed to take the exam.
- You must bring a pencil and an eraser for the exam.
