ANNUAL TUITION FEES (VAT INCLUDED)

The amounts indicated below include only annual tuition fees. Students are responsible for all other expenses. The Registration Fee will be added to the amounts below to be paid through the online account. Other fees should be paid to the relevant bank account specified below. Please quote your student id number and student name on any payment you make or on any transfer you make to the University's bank accounts. Please make sure that the bank officer entered the correct information into the system.

 

 

*: A Fee Discount for students registered in and after the 2020-2021 Academic Year: To children (only one of the children) of full-time (active or retired) staff of the METU Campuses (Ankara, Northern Cyprus, Erdemli); children (only one of the children) of METU graduates; and siblings (only one of the siblings) of current students who pursue their undergraduate studies at METU (any campus). A prospective student is eligible for a discount for only one of these categories.

A Fee Discount for students registered in and before the 2019-2020 Academic Year: To children (onlyone of the children) of full-time active staff of the METU Campuses (Ankara, Northern Cyprus, Erdemli); siblings (only one of the siblings) Student is eligible for a discount for only one of these categories.

Note: In addition to the tuition fee, a registration fee must be paid each term for official documents.The registration fee for students who registered in the 2016-2017 Academic Year and after is 375 USD (including VAT). The registration fee for students who registered in the 2015-2016 Academic Year and before is 357.50 USD.

The registration fee can be paid in two equal installments, within the designated period announced by the University at the beginning of Fall and Spring semesters. Students who pay the registration fee are exempted from all expenses charged under categories such as student document, transcript, examination, student ID card (except the replacement of an ID card due to loss), diploma and Campus Health Center services within the semester in question. However, the exemption will not cover tuition fees.

The tuition fee for students enrolled in the Business Administration SUNY (New Paltz) program in the 2024-2025 academic year and for the semester to be spent at METU NCC is USD 9450 for Turkish nationals and USD 6300 for TRNC nationals and who benefit from the Staff, Alumni and Sibling Discount. For the semesters to be spent at New Paltz University, the tuition fee determined by this university for that semester will be paid. The fee for the academic year 2023-2024 (including 2 summer terms) is approximately USD 30,000. The total cost of living expenses such as books, stationery and personal needs, accommodation, health insurance, food and beverages for the total duration of the student's study at New Paltz (13 months including 2 summer schools) is expected to be approximately USD 20,000. Before the first semester, the student will pay the orientation programme fee (approximately 300 USD).

NOTE: The tuition fees at our partner universities in the USA and METU NCC may increase by a certain amount each year.

Duration for the scholarship : Five years in the program of study (Note: The duration of all undergraduate programs is four years), plus one year in the English Preparatory Program (if required).

Suspension Condition: The scholarship is suspended for the following semester if the student falls into probation* status in any semester other than his/her first two semesters in the degree program. It will be re-granted once the student gets out of probation.

*As per the METU NCC regulations, the student falls into Probation status if his/her CGPA falls below 2.00 out of 4.00 for two consecutive semesters.

Students who attend the English Preparatory Program for one year and earn an overall score of 50.00, or above, during the relevant academic year or those who score a minimum of 50 on a METU English Proficiency Exam will continue to receive the scholarship for another year. * Students who are registered in METU Basic English Department relevant academic year are exempted from exam fees. Other candidates pay the amount of fees mentioned above.

** Transcripts from the system (https://student.metu.edu.tr/) will continue to be received free of charge.

*** Undergraduate and graduate students accepted through international quotas pay their fees in US dollars.
