Matthew Araz, Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering "Hi folks! Welcome to METU NCC. I am an orientation leader and a teaching assistant in the Mechanical Engineering department. I am a graduate of the Mechanical Engineering Department, and thanks to the support of my instructors, I'm continuing my master's in METU NCC. Other than my academic life, I am interested in music and sports. When I was an undergraduate, I worked with many societies such as Music, Musical Theatre, and Radio. I also had worked in the Performing Arts Festival organization team. Besides them, I have been doing fitness regularly in my life. Melih Can Şahin, Master of Science (MS) in in Political Science and International Relations "Hello and welcome to METU NCC. I am one of the Orientation Leaders who will help you adopt your life at METU NCC at the beginning of your exciting journey. After graduating from psychology I decided to pursue a master's degree in the same university. So here I am at METU NCC. I am also working part-time as a Teaching Assistant in Psychology Program. Kitchen Society, Psychology Society, Socialist Thought Society are among the myriad of student societies I have been part of in METU NCC. I have also been taking part in research activities conducted within the Psychology Program and many other extracurricular activities on the campus. I will be glad to meet you here in METU NCC, wherein you will discover your potentials and realize what you can do! Sina Mirzaei, Master of Science (MS) in Political Science and International Relations "Hi there, welcome to METU NCC. I am an Orientation Leader and assistant of Student Contact and Support Office which is a unit of Student Development & Counseling Center. I am a graduate of Business Administration at METU NCC and also currently doing my master's here. I have been involved in many societies and benefited from many extracurricular activities within our campus. Ahmed Assar, Master of Science (MS) in Sustainable Environment and Energy Systems "Hey guys. I am from Egypt. I would like to welcome you all to our warm, welcoming international campus. I've been on this Island for 5 years now. I graduated from the mechanical engineering program and now I am continuing my education in the SEES master program and also I am working as a TA in the mechanical engineering department. Regardless of the academics, I am in love with sports and I participated in nearly all the athletic societies on our campus. Meesam Raza, Master of Science (MS) in Sustainable Environment and Energy Systems "My name is S.M. Meesam Raza. I graduated from METU NCC from Mechanical Engineering and I am currently a Master's student in Sustainable Environmental and Energy Systems, along with being a TA in Mechanical Engineering. I've been in this campus for almost 6 years and during my undergraduate years, I was a member of ASME and Turkish German Communications Club. I generally spend my free time with friends in campus or outside, however I do love my time at the Sports Center as well! Aside from that, I have been a high honor student in my undergraduate years, and that's what I'd like to pass on to you as well!" |

During my time in this university, I have been part of IEEE, Turkish-German Society. Also I have taken part in several inter-university football tournaments. Molly Sharone, Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering My name is Molly Sharone, and I have been part of the METU community for six years now. I first joined to do my bachelor's, where I studied EEE, and now I am doing a Masters in Sustainable Environment and Energy Systems. My life on campus currently is mostly about researching and spending quality time with friends. I am a member of societies like IEEE METU NCC, Problem-solving society (Hult Prize), and the Sustainability society. In METU, we believe in personal integrity and making a difference. |
