Dear Members of the METU NCC Community,
We are proud to invite you to attend the first gathering of the “Learn & Connect: 5:40 Lecture Series” event. The purpose of this unique series is to bring the entire METU community together to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences, encourage the growth of new ideas, and fortify our culture of collaborative learning.
The first event of the series will feature a seminar by Prof. Dr. Yeliz Yeşilada titled “Autism Detection Using Eye-Tracking and Machine Learning”, in which she will talk about her work focusing on creating science-based web design guidelines for individuals with autism. Professor Yeşilada conducts research in the fields of human-computer interaction and artificial intelligence applications.
In addition to disseminating knowledge, this series aims to establish a robust communication platform that will enable our university’s administration, faculty, and students to collaborate in shaping METU NCC’s future. This series will gain depth and significance through your comments, questions, and insights. As a platform where we can grow and learn from one another, “Learn & Connect” will flourish with you. On the first Friday of each month, we will have a lecture with a different scholar at 5:40.
Date: Friday, November 8, 2024
Time: 17:40
Venue: METU NCC Culture and Convention Center, Amfi 3
Remember to bring your questions, ideas, and curiosity along! With every new insight we gain and every connection we make, we will go one step closer to the future.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at the Learn & Connect event as a valued METU NCC member.
P.S. The lecture, which will be held on Thursday, November 7 at 16:40 in Ankara, will be available online for viewing in CCC Amfi 2. Everyone is invited.
