Curriculum
The SEES M.S. program consists of 7 regular courses, one seminar course, and thesis research, which must add up to at least 21 credits. The 3 mandatory courses are typically taken during the first semester. The rest of the regular course workload consists of electives, to be taken during the second or third semesters. It is compulsory to select a thesis advisor and thesis topic by the end of the first semester. Additionally, it is highly recommended to form a thesis committee with advisor guidance by the end of the first semester. Each student is required to have an interdisciplinary thesis committee.
