What is GPC 310 Developing Skills for Peer Guidance?
GPC 310 is a (2+2) 3 credit elective course designed to facilitate the development of leadership, communication, and helping skills among 3rd and 4th year students by providing them an opportunity to assist in the delivery of GPC 100 First Year on Campus Seminar.

What are my responsibilities in the GPC 310 course?
GPC 310 comprises two parts; theory and practice. With regard to students' responsibilities in the theoretical part; students are expected to do weekly assigned readings before coming to class and participate actively in class discussions and activities. Students do their practices related with the course in GPC 100 First Year on Campus Seminar. Students' responsibilities pertaining to GPC 100 are; (a) facilitate small group discussions, (b) assist in checking attendance and active participation, (c) untangle the troubles encountered in the application process and (d) give continuous feedback in the course evaluation. Responsibilities of students who take GPC 310 change weekly and their responsibilities for each week are shared with them in the theoretical part of the same week at the latest. Since both the theoretical and the practicum hours of GPC 310 are application-based, attendance and active participation is deemed important.
