Dear Students and Staff,

Wednesday, November 10th 2021, marks the 83rd anniversary of the loss of our Commander-in-Chief and Headteacher Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, whose progressive reforms brought modern Turkey into existence. On this momentous day, a program in memory of the Great Leader Atatürk, the founder of the contemporary and the democratic Republic of Turkey, will be held on campus.
I kindly ask you to attend this meaningful ceremony.
Since the Commemoration Ceremony of Atatürk is an event included in our academic calendar, there will be no classes or exams on November 10th 2021, between 8:40-10:30.
November 10th Program:
09:05: Moment of Silence (in front of the Atatürk's Monument)
09:40: Speech (English version will begin after the Turkish speech)

Academic staff members attending the moment of silence are required to wear their academic dresses. Please note that participants attending the ceremony must follow the pandemic preventive measures (wearing masks, physical distancing, etc.).
